Educational Background
MS in Mathematics,
De La Salle University
BS in Mathematics,
De La Salle University
Mark Anthony Garcia is a mathematics educator and researcher who earned his double degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Computer Applications and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from De La Salle University–Manila. He initially pursued a teaching degree to obtain a full scholarship and was further motivated by his strong interest in solving mathematical problems during his high school years.
He completed his Master of Science in Mathematics at the same institution, where his research focused on graph theory, particularly graph labeling and bandwidth problems. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics at De La Salle University–Manila, with research interests centered on game theory and reaction networks, reflecting his growing engagement with interdisciplinary mathematical applications.
Alongside his academic pursuits, he has taught a range of courses including Pre-calculus, Calculus, Linear Programming, and Game Theory. His work integrates both theoretical and applied perspectives, contributing to mathematics education and research.
