Masaganang Ani: The Department of Literature Launches 25 New Books from 21 Authors
The Department of Literature, in partnership with the Bienvenido N. Santos Creative Writing Center, proudly launched 25 new books from 21 authors in Masaganang Ani: Book Launch of Department of Literature Faculty, Student and Alumni Authors on June 6, 2026 at the Learning Commons, 6F of the Henry Sy, Sr. Hall.
The event celebrated a rich harvest of new books—poetry, fiction, children’s literature, plays, essays, and graphic novels—written or translated by faculty, students, and alumni of the Department of Literature:

Hosted by Dr. Neslie Carol Tan, the program opened with remarks from Dr. John Iremil Teodoro, Director of the Bienvenido N. Santos Creative Writing Center. Authors formally presented copies of their books to the DLSU Libraries, represented by Director Ms. Marian Eclevia, while participating publishers shared messages onsite or via video recording. The event also featured readings and reflections from the authors and concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Carlos Piocos III, Chair of the Department of Literature.
