Noel Fortun obtained his BS Mathematics for Teachers degree at the Philippine Normal University and earned his Master of Mathematics at Ateneo De Manila University. He then obtained his PhD in Mathematics (Straight Program) at De La Salle University with the support of the Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) through the ASTHRDP Scholarship grant. Before joining the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, he worked as a high school math teacher for more than a decade.
