DLSU Establishes Antonio Woo Lim Scholarship Grant

De La Salle University formalized the establishment of the Antonio Woo Lim Scholarship Grant through a Memorandum of Agreement signing ceremony held on January 29 at the Villavicencio Boardroom. The scholarship, established by the Lim family, provides financial assistance to deserving students, with priority given to those pursuing degrees in Engineering, Accounting, and Pre-Medical programs.
The ceremony was attended by Mrs. Elisa Coyiuto Lim, Treasurer of Anden Construction Co., Inc., and her daughter, Ms. Nathalie Jayne Lim, President and CEO, along with DLSU President Br. Bernard S. Oca, FSC, senior administrators, and department heads.
Mr. Antonio Woo Lim was a proud Lasallian alumnus, having completed Grade School in 1961, High School in 1965, and LiaCom in 1970. He was also a passionate supporter of the University’s basketball and volleyball teams.
Representing the Lim family, Ms. Nathalie Lim (Management, ‘99) expressed the family’s commitment to honoring the values and legacy of Mr. Antonio Woo Lim through education and service: “We’re very thankful to La Salle and happy to contribute once again through this scholarship.”
DLSU President Br. Bernard S. Oca, FSC underscored the deeply personal and transformative nature of the gift, emphasizing that the scholarship is a celebration of family, love, and remembrance. “By honoring Tony in this way, the Lim family has transformed their love into a lasting legacy—one that will open doors, uplift lives, and empower future generations of Lasallians.”
Through this scholarship, the Lim family continues to carry forward Mr. Lim’s passion for education, creating opportunities for young Lasallians and keeping his values alive in the lives of those transformed by this gift.
