School of Law
- Academic Transcript with Cumulative GPA (CGPA). For applicants whose CGPA is not printed on academic transcripts, you may approach and secure a copy of your CGPA from the school Registrar or any other official that can certify grades (e.g., dean, college secretary, etc.)
- Academic Transcript with CGPA will also be collected from applicants who may have earned a 2nd or 3rd Undergraduate (UG) Degree, post UG Degree (MA, MS, PhD), previous JD, UG from a foreign school, etc.If one is applying for transfer, the following transcripts will be required: (1) College Transcript with CGPA and (2) Unfinished Law Transcript with CGPA.For purposes of evaluation, the latest available CGPA or GWA of the applicants will do, particularly if the applicant has not yet received their diploma or has graduated as of the time of application. The overall college GWA will be made a hard requirement should one qualifies for admission and enrolls in the University.
- Applicants who wish to transfer to the DLSU School of Law will be allowed on the condition that they will be classified as new students since the program requires a fresh start in law education. Moreover, law courses earned from previous schools are NOT honored/credited in DLSU.
. - Licensure Exams Passed (local and foreign, if applicable)
. - Successful applicants who will enroll to the DLSU Tanada – Diokno School of Law (TDSOL) will be required to:
- pay a non-refundable P14,000.00 confirmation fee and
- participate in the Seminar on Study Techniques (SST) for New Students from July 13 to 18. Attendance on the SST is mandatory. The official start of class for TDSOL is Day 1 of SST, which is July 20.

Gokongwei College of Engineering
The Master of Science in Civil Engineering (MSCE) program is only accepting BS in Civil Engineering (BSCE) Graduates.

The following engineering departments accept MS applications to their graduate programs, but their applicants’ earned bachelors’ program must be related to their applied MS program:

- Doktor ng Pilosopiya sa Araling Filipino – Wika, Kultura, at Midya (RESEARCH TRACK, course code: PHARFLR), narito ang MGA KARAGDAGANG KAHINGIAN na dapat ihanda at isumite (pagsama-samahin na lamang sa isang .pdf file):
- 1.1. Mahabang abstrak ng posibleng paksang pandisertasyon (500-1,000 salita);
- 1.2. Talaan ng posibleng superbisor/mentor na may espesyalisasyon sa nasabing paksa mula sa kaguruan ng DLSU Departamento ng Filipino (tingnan sa https://old.dlsu.edu.ph/colleges/cla/academic-departments/filipino/fakulti/ ); at

- DBA applicants must submit a master’s thesis or a final paper in a “strategy”-related course.

Applicants are, likewise, well advised to be ready to discuss 2 scholarly and professional articles that will be assigned to them at least 24 hours prior the interview schedule.
. - PhD in History by Research applicants will be required to submit the following in addition to the above requirements:
- 3.1. A Capsule Research of at least ten (10) pages discussing the research prospect(s) of the applicant.
- 3.2. A Portable Data Format (PDF) copy of his/her recent publication(s) in a journal or his/her most recent single authored book(s). N.B. Thesis or dissertation, unless published, are not up for consideration.
- 3.3. An updated Curriculum Vitae.

- PhD in Literature applicants will be interviewed by the Graduate Program Coordinator. They will also be asked to submit the following as their research output:
- 4.1. Research Portfolio. Must consist of at least 1 publication in a refereed journal and 1 completed research paper (other than MA/MS Thesis) under a reputable institution. Applicants who intend to pursue a specialization in creative writing should submit samples of previous writing and a writing project proposal.\
- 4.2. Dissertation Abstract or Research Agenda. The Dissertation Abstract must include an initial discussion of the following: Background, Statement of the Problem/Objectives, Theoretical Framework, and Significance of the Study (max. 1,000 words, excluding complete references following the MLA format).

- PhD in Psychology and PhD in Political Science applicants are required to submit a full copy of their master’s thesis.
. - PhD in Psychology applicants will be asked to:
- 6.1. Submit a photocopy of undergraduate transcript.
- 6.2. Submit a research plan. Please click the link for the required structured format and guide.
- 6.3. Submit an updated curriculum vitae.
- 6.4. Attend an interview to be scheduled and conducted online by the Graduate Program Coordinator and/or senior psychology faculty.

- PhD in Physics applicants will be asked to:

Create a 7-minute video (in English language) with the following details:
.- 7.1. State your name, your undergrad degree and from which university, and graduate degree you are applying for in DLSU.
- 7.2.Why did you choose to take Physics for your graduate degree? What motivates you to complete the program?
- 7.3. Explain your MS thesis within 3 minutes ONLY.
- 7.4. Provide the knowledge and skills you earned while doing your thesis.
- 7.5. Which research group do you plan to join and why?
- 7.6. If you are not a BS/MS Physics graduate, you will be required to take 3-7 bridging/refresher courses depending on your transcript of records. If you are a BS/MS Physics graduate, you have the option to take them. Please state the courses of your preference.

- MA in Communication applicants will have to take the DLSU Graduate Admission Test (DGAT). They also have the option to submit one piece of writing that demonstrates their ability in academic writing. This will be especially helpful if they intend to apply for scholarship opportunities.As evidence of academic writing (optional), the applicant may include an electronic copy of any of the following: (1) undergraduate thesis [entire document] or (2) article/ manuscript in a conference proceeding or journal. The applicant may only attach one writing sample.
.. - MA in Language and Literature, major in Literature (MALL-LIT) applicants will be interviewed by the Graduate Program Coordinator. They will also be asked to upload a scanned copy of their Thesis Abstract or Research Agenda. The Thesis Abstract must include an initial discussion of the following: Background, Statement of the Problem/Objectives, Theoretical Framework, and Significance of the Study. For the Research Agenda, we will require an extended thesis abstract (max. 1,000 words, excluding complete references following the MLA format).
. - MA in Literary, Cultural and Performance Studies (MALCPS) applicants will be interviewed by the Graduate Program Coordinator. They will also be asked to upload scanned copies of the following:
- 3.1. Writing Sample – preferably (but not necessarily) published
- 3.2. Research Agenda (An Abstract of the Proposed Research Topic) – The Abstract must include an initial discussion of the following: Background, Statement of the Problem/Objectives, Theoretical Framework, and Significance of the Study (max. 1,000 words, excluding complete references following the MLA format).

- MFA in Creative Writing applicants will be interviewed by the Graduate Program Coordinator. They will also be asked to upload scanned copies of following:
- 4.1. Creative writing portfolio
- 4.2. Book Writing Project Proposal for Thesis. The Proposal must include an initial discussion of the following: Background, Statement of the Problem/Objectives, Theoretical Framework, and Significance of the Study (max. 1,000 words, excluding complete references following the MLA format).

- MA in International Studies applicants will be asked to prepare and submit a 500-word essay describing the topic they would like to work on for their thesis. For more information, click here.
. - MS in Data Science applicants will be asked to create a 7-minute (max) video (in English language) with the following details:
- 6.1. State your name, your undergrad degree and from which university, and graduate degree you are applying for in DLSU.
- 6.2. Explain your undergrad or MS thesis within 3 minutes ONLY.
- 6.3. Provide the knowledge and skills you earned while doing your thesis.
- 6.4. Why did you choose to take MSDS for your graduate degree? What motivates you to complete the program?
- 6.5. How do you plan to finance your graduate school?
- 6.6. What is your plan after completing your degree?

- MS in Marketing/Master in Marketing Communications applicants will be required to submit copies of any promotional material (flyers, newspaper, radio or tv advertisement, promotional video, social media advertisement, blog, etc. that they may have done in promoting a product or service.
. - MS in Physics, MS in Applied Physics, and Master in Physics applicants will be asked to create a 7-minute video (in English language) with the following details:
- 8.1.State your name, your undergrad degree and from which university, and graduate degree you are applying for in DLSU.

- MA in Psychology applicants will be asked to:
- 9.1. Submit a research plan. Please click the link for the required structured format and guide.
- 9.2. Submit a Certificate of Employment from his/her current employer if applying to the Industrial/Organizational track. Applicant must need to be employed upon application and admission to the I/O program. This certification must be a current and ongoing employment in a corporate organization that is not a family-owned business of the applicant.
Employment from any legitimate business entity is accepted.
APPLICANTS who PASS and eventually ENROLL will be asked to turn over original copies of the requirements in a long brown envelope during CONFIRMATION OF ENROLLMENT. The brown envelope should be properly labelled with the applicant’s complete name (SURNAME, FIRST NAME, MIDDLE INITIAL) in big upper case letters on the upper left corner on the backside of the envelope. The Office of Admissions and Scholarships (OAS) reserves the right to decline applications that have not met the criteria set by the Office.
