St. La Salle Financial Assistance Grant for
Incoming First Year Students AY 2026-2027
The Online Application Form and document upload Google portal for the St. La Salle Financial Grant Application will be accessible until further notice.
General Guidelines
De La Salle University offers financial assistance under the St. La Salle Financial Assistance Grant (SLS Grant) to students who meet specific criteria for eligibility.
The application period for the St. La Salle Financial Assistance Grant (SLS Grant) will commence after the Office of Admissions and Scholarships (OAS) releases the list of accepted first-year college applicants.
To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must first pass the DLSU College Admissions Test (DCAT). Results of the scholarship application will be released before the scheduled date of confirmation of enrollment.
The selection of grantees is done by the University Scholarship Committee based on the following factors/criteria:
- Financial Need. Applicants with income below ₱450,000 qualify for a full scholarship that includes 100% tuition and fees waiver and a stipend. Those with income between ₱450,000 and ₱1,000,000 are eligible for a full scholarship covering 100% of tuition and fees waiver. Applicants with income between ₱1,000,001 and ₱1,800,000 are eligible to receive a partial scholarship.
- Academic Competence. The applicant’s high school academic records will be taken into consideration by the University Scholarship Committee.
The St. La Salle Financial Assistance Grant offers grantees with varying levels of coverage:
- Full scholarship equivalent to 100% waiver of tuition and fees, with or without stipend
- Partial scholarship with 25%, 50%, or 75% waiver of tuition and fees
- Stipend for meals, dormitory/accommodation, transportation, and communication
The SLS Grant can only be given to one grantee per family.
It must be noted that admission to the University does not necessarily guarantee that financial assistance will be given to the applicant. The number of scholarship slots is limited per college and depends on the availability of University funds.
Once awarded, the grants are renewable every trimester, provided that the grantee has met all scholarship retention requirements as stipulated in the Scholarship Guidelines. A copy of the Scholarship Guidelines, including the Scholarship Forms are given to the grantees after the official Orientation for Scholars at the beginning of the academic year. Grantees are required to meet certain academic standards and to abide by the policies prescribed by the OAS.
Scholars may apply for a scholarship upgrade after completing two (2) terms as grantees and upon compliance with all the retention policies of the scholarship.
