Dr. Samantha Louise N. Jarder is a civil engineer from Iloilo, Philippines. She earned her BS and MS in Civil Engineering from De La Salle University, and her MEng and Doctor of Engineering (D.Eng) from Tokyo City University. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Innovation and Sustainability. Her research focuses on multi-hazard analysis, seismic urban resilience of lifeline systems, disaster risk reduction, and the application of machine learning in civil engineering.
