Subject: Preparations for the 2025 UG Self-Survey Report to PAASCU**
In 2018, our undergraduate programs in business, computer science, economics, education, liberal arts, and sciences achieved reaccreditation from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU) and were subsequently granted Level IV status by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP).
This year, we are preparing for another reaccreditation process, which will include a formal on-site visit scheduled for 17-18 November 2025, as well as a formal survey of the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BS-IT) and Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BS-IS) programs.
An executive committee chaired by Dr. Fernando Santiago, Jr. is currently engaged in the preparation of the University’s Self-Survey Report (SSR) for submission in September. The committee is composed of the following members:
– Dr. Rechel Arcilla
– Dr. Myla Arcinas
– Mr. Mark Vincent Bendo
– Dr. Noelle Leslie Dela Cruz
– Ms. Geanne Ross Franco
– Ms. Ma. Christine Gendrano
– Dr. Jose Isagani Janairo
– Dr. Czarina Labayo
– Dr. Jonna Marie Lim
– Dr. Janet Mariano
– Ms. Ma. Ella Oplas
– Mr. Joseph Emil Santos
– Dr. Dennis Trinidad
The SSR is a comprehensive document that addresses eight key areas: 1. Leadership and Governance, 2. Quality Assurance, 3. Resource Management, 4. Teaching-Learning, 5. Student Services, 6. External Relations, 7. Research, and 8. Results. These areas encompass a total of twenty-three standards.
I strongly encourage all offices and units within De La Salle University to actively support the undergraduate executive committee in their crucial data-gathering efforts. It is imperative that we deliver an accurate and comprehensive account of our University’s governance, quality processes, practices, and outcomes.
Thank you for your cooperation. Animo La Salle!
