Subject: Preparations for the Second AUN-QA Institutional Assessment**

In 2017, DLSU became the first recipient of the ASEAN University Network (AUN-QA)’s quality mark at the institutional level. This year, we are submitting ourselves for reassessment, with the formal on-site visit scheduled this 4-8 November.

A team led by Dr. Gerardo Largoza of SMQA, Dr. Wyona Patalinghug, Dr. Julita Robles, and Dr. Kimberley Migallos is preparing the University’s Self-Assessment Report (SAR) for submission in August. 

 The SAR is comprehensive and covers 15 areas of institutional quality: 1. Vision, Mission, Culture and Governance, 2. Leadership and Strategy, 3. Human Resources, 4. Financial and Physical Resources, 5. External Relations and Networks, 6. Policies for Education, 7. Policies for Research, 8. Policies for Service, 9. Quality Assurance System, 10. IQA Information Management, 11. Quality Enhancement, 12. Educational Results, 13. Research Results, 14. Service Results, and 15. Financial and Market Results.

 I urge all DLSU offices to support the SAR Team’s data gathering efforts so that we may present the most accurate and well-supported account of our University’s quality processes, practices, and results.
