The Department of Decision Sciences and Innovation (DSI) offers a portfolio of academic programmes, research initiatives, and engagement activities that focus on innovation management, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and data-informed decision-making. The Department integrates disciplinary foundations with interdisciplinary perspectives to prepare students to navigate technological change, evolving business environments, and complex social challenges. Through its teaching, research, and engagement functions, DSI supports learner development in innovation, systems thinking, and responsible management, while contributing to organizational and societal development.

Mission
To develop individuals to become technically proficient and competent innovative leaders and future successful entrepreneurs.
Vision
We aim to provide relevant programmes with emphasis on management of innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability. This can be achieved by training students to be adaptive to technological advances and changing business and social conditions.
DSI Governance and Structure
The department is led by the Chair who spearheads planning, development, and implementation of programmes in the department. Assisting the Chair are the Office Manager, and Programme Coordinators who are primarily responsible for matters related to undergraduate and graduate programmes, respectively. One office assistant provides administrative support to the DSI administrators and faculty members.
